Cats Protection is the UK's leading cat welfare charity. Devoted to all things feline, we find loving homes for cats in need, promote the benefits of neutering and provide a wealth of cat advice for all.

The Stroud Branch recently celebrated its fourteenth birthday. The branch not only covers Stroud itself, but also Stonehouse, Dursley, Painswick, Nailsworth, Wotton Under Edge and the surrounding areas.

Last Year Cats Protection sucessfully rescued 294 cats of which 263 were rehomed (including 111 kittens). The work is all carried out by volunteers on top of their full time jobs and domestic responsibilities. It is very worthwhile work even though some of the cats stories are truly heat breaking
